  • Our current circumstances are not without their challenges. This is even more so for victims of domestic abuse, whose own home is not always a safe place. Father and daughter duo have teamed up to take on a 100km cycle to raise money for Women’s Aid. Sticking to the 2km radius rule, they will be doing 10 laps of a 10km route. All money raised will go to Women’s Aid. All of their amazing work can be found at www.womensaid.ie

  • Because the local Day care centre has had to close its doors in accordance to the HSE Guidelines, the Ashbourne and District Lions Club have teamed up with AVAYA and has launched the “Ashbourne Senior Citizens Support line“. This enables all the ‘Day Care Centre’ members to call into the group chat using a special Pin Code 3 x times a day at 12pm,5pm and at 8pm, This solution enables all of the members to chat to each other in the group while having a cup of tea at the same time.  🙂 #StaySafe

    Lovely site!
What a wonderful idea to share positive thoughts during those hard times. The first video is a nice
remembrance of our dear old town parades. Thank you so much for this.
The second one is a talented young man on his fiddle. So nice to see and hear that young people are still into good music.
The third video seems to be a professional one. I do love this song!
    Well done!
